Jennie A. (Tato) Muzzillo, 91, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Monday September 7, 2009 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Vincenza (Yomanica) Tato.

Jennie was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. On November 7, 1939 she married Frank A. Muzzillo in Niagara Falls. Mr. Muzzillo predeceased her on November 18, 1974. In her leisure time, Jennie enjoyed reading, watching television, and she also liked playing Bingo. Most importantly, her life was centered on her family and she will be remembered for her lovingly crocheted afghans.

Jennie is survived by seven children Connie E. Trapasso of Niagara Falls, NY; Frank A. (Lydia Diane) Muzzillo of Youngstown, NY; Faustina M. Muzzillo of Lewiston, NY; Louis E. (Linda) Muzzillo of Niagara Falls, NY; Norma A. (Paul) Calarco of West Lake, OH; Linda L. (Gerry) Nardelli and Theresa "Terri" J. (Patrick) Gambino both of Lewiston, NY; sixteen grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one grandson, Carmen Muzzillo, two sisters Irene (late Joseph) Sperduti and Mary (late Arthur) Valery and three brothers Anthony (late Rose), Charles (Harriet), and Michael (late Bianca) Tato.

Friends may call on Friday from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Saturday September 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, 5285 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY 14092 or a charity of one's choice.
