Jennifer M. Martelle, 55, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on April 11, 2025, at her residence.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late David and Sandra (Daria) Koch.

Jennifer was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School.  In 1992, she married James D. Martelle in the Town of Niagara, NY.  Alongside James, Jennifer was a member of Niagara #1 Volunteer Fire Department and was also a State Wildlife Rehabilitator.  She loved fishing, attending concerts and Buffalo Sabres games, and was an avid cat lover.  Most of all, Jennifer cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 23 years, Jennifer is survived by her children, Laurie (Alex) Swizki and Brandon Thompson; her grandchildren, Hunter, Devin, Chase, Emma and Amelia; 3 adopted children; her siblings, Tim Koch and Laurie (David) Deim, her mother-in-law, Theresa Pilon, as well as several step-siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her brother, David Koch, as well as by several step-siblings.
