Jerry came to the Niagara Falls area in the 1950's to work on the construction of the Niagara Falls Power Project, and continued to work for Ebasco Construction until his retirement. Jerry had many friends from far and wide due to his many work locations and interests. He especially enjoyed spending the winter months in Texas, in particular the Rio Grande Valley area. He is remembered by the Dundas Ontario Cactus Capital Golf Group and was honored for his many years of volunteer work for Greater Houston Area Chapter of American Red Cross (Disaster Relief).
Jerry was predeceased by his wife Bernice on April 27, 2002. He is survived by a step-son Tom (Joanne) Preuster of Pennsylvania, PA; his two brothers Chuck Sehl of Georgia, Paul (Carol) Sehl of Hamilton, Ontario; two sisters Verda (Dave) Daley and Margaret (Pete) Allard, both of Hamilton, Ontario. Jerry was predeceased by two brothers Wilfred (late Jean) Sehl, and Phillip (Margaret of Toronto, Ontario) Sehl, and one sister Mary Stevens. He is survived by many nieces and nephews of the Mann family of Niagara Falls, NY and of the Sehl family in Ontario, Illinois, and California. Jerry was blessed by the help of the Mann family and Jim, Chris, and James Kramp; without this he could not have remained in his home. Special thanks to the excellent care and kindness from Dr. Todd Orszulak and his staff as well as those that cared for him at Mt.
