Jerry L. Ianni, 66, of Bulverde, TX, formerly of the Niagara Falls area passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Sarah (Valentino) Ianni of Texas and the late Fernando Ianni.
Jerry attended Lewiston Porter High School and later earned a Masters of Education degree. For the past thirty years he resided in Texas where he worked many years as a sales representative in the medical field. Most recently Jerry was employed as a high school teacher for the Texas State Board of Education. In his leisure time, Jerry enjoyed golfing, hunting and collecting antiques. He was also an extensive world traveler.
In addition to his mother, Jerry is survived by his lifelong partner Sharon Kolmeier and her parents Chester and Ruth Kolmeier; one brother Daniel (Rebecca) Ianni of Burke, VA and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. He was also predeceased by his beloved dog Eric.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Jerry's Life on Saturday, July 2nd at 11:00 AM at The Como Restaurant, 2220 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
