Joan (Hilton) Laurendi, 86, of Lewiston, NY entered into rest Thursday, August 9, 2018. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Udale) Hilton and step daughter of the late Leon Turns.

Joan attended local schools and graduated from the former St. Mary's High School, Class of 1949.  On May 23, 1953 she married Vincent J. Laurendi in St. Joseph Church.  Mr. Laurendi predeceased Joan on December 8, 2010.

Joan worked for several years for Niagara County Bank as a Bank Teller and was an active member of the Niagara Falls Football Booster Club. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and looked forward to spending Sundays watching the games at her son's house.  Joan was an avid reader, enjoyed walking, and loved to go out to dinner or lunch with her family and friends.  Joan and her husband spent winters in Hollywood Beach, Florida, where they loved walking the boardwalk.

Loving Mother of Thomas (Debbie) Laurendi and the late Vincent J. (Lori) Laurendi. Grandmother of Vinnie, Anthony, Marina, Joey and Michael Laurendi, all of whom she cherished.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Visitation will begin Sunday from 3 – 8 P.M. At M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL. 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday, August 13 ^th at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Peter's Church 620 Center Street Lewiston, NY.  Burial will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  Please visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
