JoAnn R. Ferrusi, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025 at Schoellkopf Health Care Center. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the cherished daughter of the late Salvatore "Sam" and Rose Mary (Catania) Dinoto.

A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, JoAnn attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On May 4, 1957, she married the love of her life, Anthony M. Ferrusi, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She was employed by Occidential Chemical Company as a medical scheduler for many years prior to her retirement.

In her younger years, JoAnn professionally modeled with grace and confidence, and loved to golf. She was also a social butterfly and enjoyed traveling extensively.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Debra (Michael) Egert; her grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan, Blaine, Anthony and Zachary, her brother, Anthony DiNoto, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, JoAnn was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, in 1998; two sons, Michael A. Ferrusi and Ercole "Arky" (Diana Tyran) Ferrisi, and her brother, Augustino DiNoto.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7 from 4 - 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9:15 AM followed by JoAnn's Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N.
