Joanne T. Presutti, 88, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on July 15, 2024 at her residence under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Teresa (Alviti) Mallamaci.

Joanne was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  On October 1, 1955, she married James "Soup" Presutti at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls.  Mr. Presutti predeceased her on May 29, 2013.  Joanne was employed at Niagara University in the Bursar's Office for over 30 years, until her retirement as Head Bursar.  Her Faith meant everything to her – a devout Catholic who attended mass daily and prayed the rosary, Joanne was a longtime member of St. Peter RC Church in Lewiston, NY, where she served as Eucharistic Minister, and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, Cristoforo Colombo Women's Group and coordinated Adoration for the church.  Joanne also worked as a Real Estate Agent with Wendell Kay, Stefik, and Great Lakes Realty.  She loved to cook and bake, and was a talented seamstress in her younger years, making clothing for her children.  Joanne was extremely devoted to her family, and cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joanne is survived by her children, Linda (Jim Bush) Presutti, Julie (Jim) Hibbard, Diane Coty, and Anthony (Jerri) Presutti; her grandchildren, Kevin (Tracy) Jeffords, Teresa Jeffords, Michael (Shanna) Jeffords, Matthew (Bekah) McGovern, Kyle (Jessica) McGovern, Anthony Coty, Giovanna (Billy) Schiavitti, Angelina Presutti, Vincent Presutti, and Jimmy Presutti; her great-grandchildren, Felix McGovern, Tyler Boudreau, Audrianna Schiavitti, Natalie Carroll, Michael Jeffords, Mason Jeffords, Julianna Jeffords, and Johnny Hammeke, as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her husband of 57 years, she was predeceased by her siblings, Paul (Anna) Mallamaci and Tave (Carol) Mallamaci.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Joanne's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 19 at 10 AM at St. Peter R.C.
