Joanne (Zacher) Wagner, 83, beloved wife of LeRoy (Roy) Wagner passed away peacefully on June 17, 2022 of natural causes.

Joanne was born on March 10 ^th , 1939, in Niagara Falls NY. She was the oldest child of the late Eta (Lucantonio) Zacher. She graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1957. She met Roy through mutual friends, and they married on May 2 ^nd , 1959. Together they had four children who were the driving force and shining light of Joanne's life.

Joanne was employed out of High School with Niagara County Savings Bank and later, after her youngest went off to school, worked at K-Mart in Niagara Falls for 20 years, until her retirement in 1997.  Joanne was also a member of Mount Carmel Church Altar and Rosary Society, Hyde Park Elementary School PEG, Girl Scout leader and Hyde Park Little League volunteer.

Joanne played many roles throughout her life as a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was as loyal as they come. She will be most remembered for her unwavering love of family and her big, bright smile, even while experiencing life's toughest challenges.

Joanne is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roy; daughter Diana Locey and her husband John of Lowell MA; daughter Cindy O'Keefe and her husband Mark of Chelmsford MA; son Roy and his wife Michelle (Lawton) of Lewiston NY; son George and his wife Kerry (O'Connor) of Lewiston NY. The apples of her eye ten grandchildren: Andrew Locey; Jessica Locey; Samantha (Sean) Pappagallo; Megan O'Keefe; Patrick (James Roy) Wagner; Erin O'Keefe; Connor O'Keefe; Keely Wagner; Haley Wagner and Jack Wagner and two great grandchildren Ella and Eli Pappagallo; sister-in-laws Paula Zacher and Susan Zacher.  She also leaves behind many treasured nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Joanne was predeceased by her four siblings Fred Zacher; Anna Mitravich; John Zacher and James Zacher.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 21 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Joanne's Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27 ^th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
