Joell M. Gaines, 54, passed away on December 24, 2021.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold "Chuck" Scrivani and the late Vincenette (Sirianni) Scrivani.

Joell was raised in Niagara Falls and attended local schools.  On October 10, 1992, she married the love of her life David R. Gaines.  Joell was employed with Gaines Electric, working in the office.  Joell was a Christian woman who loved God.  She enjoyed crocheting, traveling with her husband, playing with her dogs, and walking in the woods. More than anything, her life centered around her family.  She loved playing with her grandson and great nieces and nephews, rocking them in her rocking chair, and cherished the time she spent with her daughters and her husband.

In addition to her husband of 29 years, Joell is survived by her daughters, Kristen (Dave) Tomala, Stephanie Gaines, and Amanda Gaines (fiancé Brandon Tierney); her grandson, Nico Tomala; her sister, Natalie (Chris) Guiliani; her nieces and nephews, Christopher Guiliani, Mark Guiliani, Alexis Gaines, Tatiana Gaines, Brian McGuire, Michael McGuire, Joseph McGuire, Katie Russinko, Joshua Josey, Daniel Josey and David Josey; great nieces Aviana and Isabella, and great nephews, Donovan and Antonio, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

There will be no prior visitation.  A Memorial Service will be held on December 30 at 11 AM at Colonial Village Presbyterian Church, 4813 Kline Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Private entombment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Arrangements by M.J.
