John Thomas Bristol, 75, of Ransomville, NY, passed away on February 14, 2022. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late John and Helen Bristol.

John attended local schools in Niagara Falls, and obtained his Master's degree from Niagara University. He began working at TAM Ceramics, before teaching at Niagara University for several years. John then moved to Washington, DC in 2000, where he was employed at the Capital Building as an accountant and tour guide. Following his retirement in 2014, John returned to Youngstown and married his beloved wife, Jing Liu.

John had a passion for music and loved playing the piano. He also enjoyed tending to his garden, reading, woodworking and baking. John also loved traveling with his family, especially to China, South America and Florida.

In addition to his wife, Jing, he is survived by his children, Nick Bristol and Dan (Lei Hua) Wang; his siblings, Timothy (Jane) Bristol, James (Claire) Bristol, Dan Bristol, Neil (Maria) Bristol; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, John was sadly predeceased by his brothers, Peter (Melinda Hatton) Bristol and Tom Bristol.

Funeral services will be held at a later date to be announced. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
