John P. Cipolla, 56, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of Jo Anne (Polin) Cipolla and the late Anthony Cipolla; and the beloved husband of Esther (Thomson) Cipolla, who he married on August 18, 2006.

John graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield High School and obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Niagara University. He was currently employed for over 30 years as the Senior Security Officer of Niagara County Community College, a position he loved greatly.

John served as a Parent Scout Leader of Troop 824 with his son. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, as well as camping and tending to his vegetable garden. He was also a passionate football fan and enjoyed rooting for the Raiders. Above all, John dedicated his life to his family, especially his cherished son, Vincent.

In addition to his wife, Esther; son, Vincent, and mom, Jo Anne, John will be deeply missed by his siblings, Joseph (Judy) Cipolla and Krista (James) Greig; his niece and nephews, Jennifer and Joshua Cipolla and Anthony and Angelo Greig; his mother-in-law, Patricia (late Roy) Thomson; many loving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and countless friends.

Visitation will be Friday, September 13 from 4 – 8 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin on Saturday, September 14 at 11:45 AM, followed by John's Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM in St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to The Ralph C.
