John A. D'Apollo, Jr., 50, of Lewiston, NY passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2013 at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of John A. D'Apollo, Sr. and the late Joanne M. (Russo) D'Apollo.

John attended local schools graduated from Lewiston Porter High School in 1981. He also attended Buffalo State College where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. John was employed as a customs broker agent. He was an avid sports fan and especially liked to exercise and play golf. Above all, John enjoyed spending time with his loving son, John, and his two dogs, Trina and Pierre.

In addition to his father, John is survived by his son John A. D'Apollo III, his five siblings, Mary D'Apollo of North Carolina, Annette (Roger) Legg of Clarence, NY, Adeline (Nick) Costa of Lewiston, NY, Mathew (Ethelene) D'Apollo of Niagara Falls, NY and Joanne (John) Chicchetti of Lewiston, NY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his dogs, Trina and Pierre as well as his many friends.

Visitation will be on Monday February 18th from 3 – 8 P.M. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday February 19th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Bernard's Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown, NY, with Msgr. J. Thomas Moran officiating.
