John T. DeSantis, 28, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Sunday August 9, 2009 in Niagara Falls, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Thomas J. and Kathy Y. (Taite) DeSantis of Niagara Falls, NY.

John was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools including Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Elementary School, the former LaSalle Senior High School, and received his Auto Technician Certificate from Niagara Orleans BOCES. John has a passion for cars and worked as an auto mechanic for various local garages. He also enjoyed his dogs and music, but most of all, his greatest pleasure came from spending time with his daughter.

In addition to his parents, John is survived by his daughter Jaylynn, two sisters, Andrea DeSantis of Niagara Falls, NY and Noelle DeSantis of San Diego, CA; his paternal grandmother Anita (late John T.) DeSantis of Niagara Falls, NY; his maternal grandmother Frances (late David) Taite of Niagara Falls, NY; one niece Taya Noelle DeSantis, his aunts and uncles, Marcia and Thomas Bellonte of Lewiston, NY; Angela M. DeSantis Krueger of Seneca Falls, NY; Michael and Lisa DeSantis of Niagara Falls, NY; Martha Taite of Buffalo, NY; Dale and Angela Taite and Patricia Hanson both of Niagara Falls, NY as well as many cousins and friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday August 13th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Joseph Moreno officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions for his daughter's educational fund in care of Thomas & Kathy DeSantis.
