John Gualano, age 71, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, John was the son of the late Frank and Shirley (Alessi) Gualano; and the loving husband to Darlene (Schmidt) Gualano, whom he married in 1993 in Niagara Falls.

John attended local schools and began his career working at Cataract Forklift for several years. He later owned and operated John's Auto on Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls for many years, becoming a well-known and respected figure in the community.

An avid outdoorsman, John loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed flying model airplanes, as well as RC racing cars, and was a longtime member of the Wing & Rotor of W.N.Y, R.C. Flying club. Above all, John's passion for life and love for his family will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife of 31 years, John is survived by his children, Jennifer Gualano, Frank Gualano, Leonard (Amber) Gualano, Deanna (Zach Schuster) Gualano, Mariann Gualano, and Peter Bogal; his grandchildren, Anthony, Jaymin, and Gianna; his siblings, Terry (Anthony) Conte, Kathy (Greg) Satterfield, Julie Gualano, and Robert (Rachel) Gualano; and many nieces and nephews.
