John Matthew Jesz, age 49, passed away on October 3, 2020 at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of John F. and Barbara L. (Fox) Jesz.

He graduated from Niagara Wheatfield in 1989 and attended Niagara County Community College. John was employed as Journeyman Plumber with Local #22 in Niagara Falls, NY and was employed by M. Purtill Plumbing.

John was a talented artist, enjoyed illustrating comics, liked model railroads and going on camping trips. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and movies, his favorites were Back to the Future, and Christmas Vacation, an avid Buffalo Bills and Boston Red Sox Fan, but above all, John's best time was being with his family.

In addition to his parents, John is survived by his children, Veronica (Don Johnson) Gagner, John David Jesz, Joshua A. Jesz and Jackson Jesz. His brothers, Stephen A. (Nicole) Jesz and Christopher (Toni) Jesz. Cherished uncle of Alexa, Cole, Reed Brody and Peyton. Godson of Betty (Michael) Parsnick, also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, Leah Baldassarre and Jeanine Jesz.

Visitation will be Thursday October 8, 2020 from 4 - 8PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. John's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 AM from ST. Vincent De Paul Parish, St. Leo's Worship Site, 2748 Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY. Please assemble at church. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  Memorials in John's honor may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
