John Kennedy, age 66,  of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at home unexpectedly.  Born on January 17, 1953 in Silver Springs, Maryland, son of the late James and Loretta (Boyle) Kennedy.

John married the former Barbara Corradini on September 27, 1975 in St. Joseph's Church, Niagara Falls. John worked as a chemical operator for Niacet Corporation, Niagara Falls and retired in 2010.  "Boompa" as he was affectionately known by his loving granddaughter and family enjoyed reading, music and was an avid Cleveland Indians Baseball fan.  He also enjoyed collecting baseball memorabilia.

John is survived by his wife, Barbara Kennedy; cherished daughter, Loretta (Vincent) Piaskowski, Jr; granddaughter, Sophia Piaskowski; brother, Thomas (Brenda) Kennedy; three nieces, Alison Kennedy, Katy (Kurt) Schild and Sandra (Nick Covatto) Kennedy.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving Aunt, Agnes (late Eugene) Fedrizzi.

Visitation will begin on Monday, December 30 ^th from 3 – 7 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
