John F. Panza, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 23, 2023 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Amherst, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Ralph and Angeline (Orlando) Panza.

John was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and later earned his Associate's Degree from Erie Community College. He proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1955.  On September 5, 1955, he married Nancy L. (Krulik) Panza.  Mrs. Panza predeceased him on March 24, 2020.

John began his career with Strategic Ody from 1959 until 1960.  He was then employed as a Professional Engineer with Mesch Engineering from 1960 until 2000, and later worked for LeChase Construction Services from 2000 until 2005, and concluded his career at KBR Engineering at the DuPont Yerkes Plant.  He was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers.  John's biggest hobby was his work, but above all, his life was centered around his family.

John is survived by his children, Mark (Helen) Panza, Gerald (Coleen Farr) Panza, Jeffrey (Denise) Panza, and Janelle (Steve) Stromberg; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Ralph (late Marian) Panza, Ret. MSgt., (Nancy Arsenaut), Helen Panza, and Frank (Faye) Panza, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his wife of 64 years, he was sadly predeceased by his son, Gregory Panza.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30 from 8:30 – 9:15 AM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 9:15 AM, followed by John's Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY with Military Honors.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
