Jonathan H. Miller, "J. Mill", 17, of Lewiston, NY died on Sunday November 15, 2009. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Kevin M. and Jeannine Brown Miller of Lewiston, NY.

Jonathan Miller was a young man with a big heart – loving his family, friends, and life. He easily made friends with everyone and made family a priority. He was a devoted grandson and nephew helping his grandparents and other family whenever he could. He loved family gatherings on holidays and throughout the year. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his work at the Brickyard and working at his own lawn care business. He also was a well-respected baseball umpire with Lewiston Rec.

A senior at Lewiston Porter High school, Jonathan loved sports as an athlete and as a spectator. Known for being a real team player, football was, above all else, his favorite of them all. Jonathan was born a "Purple Eagle" and totally identified with the Vincentian Mission having St. Vincent DePaul his chosen saint for confirmation and "Vincent" as his confirmation name. Serving and being there for friends and family was always a priority. He was thrilled to have been accepted to Niagara University as a criminal justice major for Fall 2010.

In addition to his parents, Jonathan is survived by two sisters Lauren R. Miller and Alyssa L. Miller both of Lewiston, NY; his maternal grandparents Harold and Rose Brown of Niagara Falls, NY; his paternal grandfather John J. (late Marilyn) Miller of Bradenton, FL; his maternal aunts and uncles Kathleen (Dr. Theodore) Jenkins, Maureen (Michael) Cacace, Michael (Lisa) Brown, Christopher (Suzanne) Brown, Steven (Connie) Brown and Patrick (Maria) Brown, his paternal aunts and uncles Keith (Suzanne) Miller, Jeffrey (Emily) Miller, David (Wendy) Miller and Scott (Elisia) Miller, his loving maternal cousins Rob and Rich Jenkins, Joe (Stephanie) and Chrissy Cacace, Alex (Lindsay), Andrea, Allison and Chris Brown; Elizabeth, Joe and Mary Rose Brown; Connor Brown; his loving paternal cousins Richie, Michael, Cassandra, Jessica and Kayla Miller; Kailyn and Ashley Miller; Collin, Kiernan, Giovanna and Gabriel Miller and several great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 3 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday November 19th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peter R.C. Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY with Rev. Sebastian Pierro officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
