Joseph Gabriel "Gabe" Albert, 81, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY and of Murfreesboro, Tenn., passed away July 28 ^th , 2017 at the Veteran's Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tenn. after a lengthy illness. Born in the state of Maine and growing up in Niagara Falls, Joseph was the son of Gerard and Eva Marie Albert; and was predeceased by one sister, Geraldine (nee Albert) Rossi of California. Joseph will be greatly missed by a surviving a brother, Dr. Sylvio Albert of Oswego, NY and three sisters, Marie (Albert) Meaney of West Seneca, NY, Simone (Guenther) Schultz of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, Miss. Loraine Albert of Niagara Falls, NY.

Joseph graduated from Bishop Duffy High School in 1954 and proudly served in the United States Navy with distinction in Post-Korean Conflict. Upon his honorable discharge, Joseph received his Associate's Degree from Aviation Maintenance College and subsequently was employed as an Aircraft Inspector for major airline companies throughout the world. During his lifetime, Joseph always called, Gabe, was an avid photographer, enjoyed family visits and world travel.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2 ^nd from 4 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Thursday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 259 4th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery with Military Honors.
