Joseph Arnone, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Thursday June 20, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Rovito, Cosenza, Italy he was the son of the late Gaetano and Mariangela (Bruno) Arnone.

Joseph was educated in Italy and came to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada in 1949. On March 31, 1954 he married Zana G. (Gabrielli) Arnone in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada and shortly after they moved to Niagara Falls, NY. Mrs. Arnone predeceased him on April 3, 2000. Joseph was employed by the City of Niagara Falls and worked in maintenance at the Hyde Park Golf Course. He actively participated in area senior societies including, the John Duke Seniors and The Niagara Golden Stars. In his leisure time, Joseph also enjoyed gardening.

Joseph is survived by one brother Salvatore (Emilia) Arnone of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and was predeceased by two brothers, Pasquale (late Elvira) Arnone and Francesco (late Olga) Arnone and three sisters, Amalia Marino, Maria (late Antonio) Giordano and Esteria Pignatori. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 – 6 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Monday June 24th at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Vincent DePaul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
