IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joseph Michael
Ayers
March 6, 2025
Joseph Michael Ayers, 29, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 6, 2025. Born in Buffalo, NY he was the son of Michael and Elena (Frosolone) Ayers.
Joe was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School, where he excelled in basketball and football. Following his high school years, he earned his associate's degree from Niagara County Community College and was awarded an academic scholarship to Niagara University.
Joe dedicated his early career to the Niagara Falls Boys and Girls Club, where he played an important role in their after-school programs and summer camps. He later worked the midnight shift at the Niagara Gospel Mission, serving others with patience and understanding. Most recently, he worked at E-Man Ink in Niagara Falls. Joe took pride in his work there, enjoying the variety and structure each day brought. He was deeply cared for by those he worked alongside.
Joe's future held exciting promise. He recently received a letter from the Niagara Falls Fire Department to take the fitness test. Joe was actively doing his best to be ready. He began training with his sister and working out with his Uncle Rick.
Joe had a deep love for dogs. He enjoyed visiting foster pups, helping with rescues, and cherished his own dogs, Bernie and Lola. He was a longtime sports fan who loved competing in his Fantasy Football League. This year, he proudly won the "John Ayers Memorial Trophy," a victory that meant a lot to him.
Joe was incredibly smart, with a good heart and a strong sense of right and wrong. He never judged anyone, and accepted people exactly as they were. He was the kind of person who was easy to share silence with. Someone who truly listened. When he offered insight, his words were simple yet profound, making you feel understood.
Above all, Joe was happiest when spending time with his family who will miss him greatly. Joe's love will remain with them always, a quiet and steady presence, just like him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving sister, Victoria Ayers; his maternal grandmother, Florence (late Victor) Frosolone and his paternal grandmother, Mary Rogers (late John 'Jack' Ayers); his aunts and uncles, Joanne (Ed) Ricotta, Mary (Tim) Wirth, Judy (Mike) Behlmaier, John (Lauren) Frosolone, Enrico (Dawn) Frosolone and Concetta 'Tina' (Larry) DeLong, as well as many cherished cousins and a few good friends.
Joe is now reunited with his beloved brother and best friend, John Michael Ayers, who sadly predeceased him in 2022.
