Obituary

Joseph Bernard Leone, 87, of Lewiston NY, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 25, 2012 surrounded by his loving family under the care of Niagara Hospice and four loving aides. Born in Niagara Falls NY, Joseph was the son of the late John and Agnes (Paglia) Leone.

Joseph continued his education at Niagara University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree and later earned a Master's Degree at the University of Buffalo. Joe began a career as a chemist while working at the Olin Matheson Chemical Corp in Niagara Falls He subsequently changed his profession to education and became a teacher for the Niagara Falls School District and later for the Williamsville Central School District. During World War II, Joseph served in the United States Army, with the 114th Infantry from December 15, 1942 until his honorable discharge on August 6, 1945.
