IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joseph C.
Ciffa
October 1, 2020
Joseph C. Ciffa, 34, of Niagara Falls, NY, entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2020 unexpectedly as a result of an accident at Hyde Park Lake. Born on June 19, 1986, his mother's birthday, which was her greatest gift, he was the son of Paul A. and Coni (Colavecchia) Ciffa.
Joe graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 2004. He was an exceptional bowler. At the age of 17, he held the Youth City record for high scores, which he dedicated to his Grandpa Ciffa. His talent led him to a winning streak on the televised show, "Beat The Champ" and he was often featured in many newspaper headlines. He participated in many tournaments, earning many rings and trophies. Beyond that, Joe enjoyed watching football with his father and brother, loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed fishing often with his children and fianceé.
Joe had the gift of gab. His quick wit and funny sense of humor gravitated people of all ages. He most recently worked at Smokin' Joe's as an attendant, where he put his people skills to good use. He overcame many obstacles and was living life to the fullest. He had a heart of gold and never turned down the opportunity to help others. He will be forever missed by those who truly knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his children, Alexis M. Ciffa and Anthony P. Ciffa; his fianceé Jessica L. Pochepan; his brother, Vincent P. Ciffa; his aunts and uncles, Cori (Jon) Gormley of Florida, Rev. Salvatore 'Sam' (Kathy) Ciffa, Joseph Ciffa, and Lucille Longo, his grandfather, Charles Colavecchia, as well as many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Marie Colavecchia and late Joseph (late Connie) Ciffa.
