Joseph T. Costanzo Jr., 88, of Niagara Falls, NY died on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at his residence.   Born in Akron, OH he was the son of the late Joseph T. and Elma (Heaton) Costanzo.

Joseph came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child with his family and attended local schools. During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy from January 20, 1944 until his honorable discharge on April 26, 1946. On September 11, 1948 he married Jean L. (Archie) Costanzo at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls. Joseph was a member of the former Local 129, currently Local 122, Plumbers & Pipefitters, Inc. in Niagara Falls NY and worked at various construction sites throughout the area.

In addition to his wife of sixty five years, Mr. Costanzo is survived by two children Joel T. (Theresa) Costanzo of Niagara Falls, NY and Jaymie J. Costanzo of Rochester, NY; two grandchildren Stephanie Costanzo and Joel T. Costanzo, II. He was predeceased by one sister Annamarie Costanzo.
