Joseph H. DiFonzo, 25, of the Town of Niagara, NY went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 5, 2013 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Kenmore, NY he was the son of Daniel (Jean) DiFonzo of Youngstown, NY and Lisa (nee Adams) (Tim) Wilson of the Town of Niagara, NY.

Joseph attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 2006. He was also an avid sports fan and especially liked basketball, football and competing in fantasy sports. Joseph loved spending time with his friends and family but above all, he centered his life around taking care of his daughter Serena.

In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by his daughter Serena DiFonzo, fiancé Brittany Gonzalez, one brother Daniel DiFonzo, one sister Alexis DiFonzo, one step sister Britney, two step brothers Austin and Braden and his paternal grandmother Linda (late Joseph) DiFonzo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Herbert and Frances Adams.

Visitation will be on Friday from 12 – 4 p.m. and from 6 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Saturday February 9th at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
