Joseph Jelonek, 60, of Grand Island, NY, passed away on June 16, 2024.  Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Daniel D. and Beatrice (Baynes) Jelonek.

On October 13, 1990, Joe married Julie E. (Pinzel) Jelonek.  He was employed as a Software Applications Manager for Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, NY for the past 10 years.  An avid outdoors enthusiast, Joe enjoyed nature walks, jet skiing, photography and bird watching.  In addition, Joe loved music, especially Bruce Springsteen, and was also a car enthusiast.  Above all, Joe cherished the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his wife of 33 years, Joe is survived by his children, Casey Jelonek, Amanda Jelonek, and Emily Jelonek; his brothers, Daniel Jelonek and William (Lynn) Jelonek; his nephews, Mitchel Jelonek, Nicholas (Alaina) Jelonek, and niece, Jill Jelonek as well as many cousins.
