Joseph A. Licastro, 76, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday December 29, 2010 at his residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Fort Erie, Ontario Canada he was the son of the late Gaetano and Angeline (Cirrito) Licastro.

Joseph came to Niagara Falls at an early age with his family and attended local schools. Joseph honorably served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. On July 5, 1958 he married Barbara (Daniels) Licastro in St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. He worked as a truck driver with Certo Brothers in Niagara Falls, NY and later with the Coca-Cola Company in Tonawanda, NY for over 20 years until his retirement. Joe enjoyed bowling, horseracing, going to the casino and playing games of chance. Joseph was also a member of Pete's Market House International Sportsman Club in Niagara Falls.

In addition to his wife of fifty-two years, Mr. Licastro is survived by three sons, Jeffrey (Laura) Licastro of Florida, Anthony (Mary Beth) Licastro and Paul (Mollie) Licastro both of Niagara Falls, NY; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Jr, Tabitha, Joseph, Adam, Sarah, Alexandra, Gabrielle, Angelo and Luciano; three sisters, Kay Stancom, Frances Snyder, Grace (Michael) Greenwald all of Niagara Falls, NY, one brother Mario "Ginger" (Lorraine) Licastro of Niagara Falls, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday January 3rd from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where prayers will be held at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. Flowers are graciously declined.
