Joseph J. Lucido, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on April 21, 2014 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Lockport, NY he was the son of Raymond and Theresa (Calandra) Leggiere.

Joseph attended local schools in Niagara Falls, including Trott Vocational High School. During World War II he served in the United States Marines as a private first class from Decemeber 9 ^th , 1942 until his honorable discharge on November 13, 1945. He married his loving wife, Antoinette (Salvatore) Lucido in January of 1948 at the former Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls, NY. They enjoyed a special unconditional love for 66 years. Joseph was employed as the produce manager at Tops Friendly Market in Niagara Falls, NY until his retirement in the late 1980's. His greatest passion in life was spending time with his family, especially his four grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 66 years, Mr. Lucido is survived by his two children, John (Carol) Lucido and Theresa (Joel T.) Costanzo both of Niagara Falls, NY; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Jenny) Lucido, Michael Lucido, Stephanie Costanzo and Joel T. Costanzo, II; one sister, Julia Disparti-White. He is also survived by several, nieces, nephews and cousins. Joseph was predeceased by his son, Raymond Lucido; three siblings, Caroline Fournier, Stanley Lucido and Louis Lucido.
