Joseph V. Marra, 97, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on July 7, 2020 at his residence under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna (Micale) Marra.

Joseph attended local schools, graduating from Niagara Falls High School and later attending Niagara University.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force, stationed in California, from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1945.  On April 20, 1948, he married Rose A. (Camisa) Marra.  Mrs. Marra predeceased him on September 7, 2007.

Joseph owned and operated the Niagara Chrysler Plymouth Automobile Dealership in Niagara Falls, NY, working in the Automotive Industry for 42 years until his retirement in 1985.  He was a member of Niagara Frontier Country Club for 35 years, and a volunteer at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital for over 30 years.

Joseph enjoyed smoking cigars with his grandson Joseph at his personal cigar club, M&M, located in his mancave.  He enjoyed watching and talking sports with his granddaughter Ashley, and loved to golf.

Joseph is survived by his children, Ann Marie (Mike) Wheeler, Frank (Cheri) Marra, and Thomas (Patricia) Marra; his grandchildren, Joseph (Emily) Marra, Ashley Marra, Erin Marra, and Amber (Craig) Klaussen; his great grandchildren, Emilia Marra, Finley Marra, Dominick Costanzo and Noah Costanzo; his brother, Albert (Jean) Marra, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his wife of 59 years, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary (late Patrick) Sullivan.
