Joseph P. Maule, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Born in Pozzacchio, Trambileno, Trento, Italy he was the son of the late Enrico and Maria (Marcolini) Maule.
In 1930 Joseph came to Niagara Falls as a child with his family where he lived until the present time. He attended local schools including the former St. Joseph Elementary School. He was employed as a machinist at the Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls, NY until his retirement. Joseph enjoyed photography and woodworking. He was also an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and liked watching golf. Joseph especially enjoyed taking long rides in the country and traveling back to Italy with his sister.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his sister Jennie Lucia Maule. He is survived by his neighbor and dear friend, Simon Zambotti, as well as several other close friends and many cousins in Europe.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 30th from 9 – 11 a.m. at the
M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
