OWNER OF JOEY'S PIZZERIA

Joseph Previte, 73 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on August 27, 2018 at Niagara Hospice House. Born July 17, 1945 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Ann (Rogina) Previte.

Joseph was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls. On September 2, 1968, he married Donna M. (D'Ambrosio) Previte in St. Joseph's Church.  Joseph began his career working for Iroquois Brewing Company.  He would later go on to open Joey's Pizzeria on Buffalo Avenue, a business he and his family have operated for the past 40 years.  Joe was extremely proud of his business.  He worked hard each day and took great pride in the appearance of his business both inside and outside with flowers and plants every summer.  In 2006, he was awarded 'Businessman of the Year' from the LaSalle Business & Professional Association, and in 2013 received the City of Niagara Falls Beautification Award.  Above all, Joe was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his family.

In addition to his beloved wife Donna, he is survived by two sons Mark J. Previte and Christopher J. Previte, four grandchildren, Katie, Nicholas, Marisa and Lana Previte, two brothers and one sister, Anthony (Pat) Previte, Annamarie (late Anthony) Delano and Michael (Marilyn) Previte, one aunt Mildred Ludwig as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was also predeceased by one sister Kathleen Tracy.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL. 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 30 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY.  EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.  Entombment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
