Joseph C. Rossi, 63, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Tuesday, December 25 ^th , 2018 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he is the loving son of Jean (Jerry) (nee Sherwood) Roberts and the late Angelo Rossi.

Joseph graduated from the former Bishop Duffy High School in 1973 and served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. On September 15, 1979, he married his beloved wife, Joanne (Presutti) Rossi at the former Sacred Heart Church.

Joe was employed at the Olin Chemical Corporation as a pipefitter for 35 years prior to his retirement in 2014. When Mr. Rossi's children were younger, he proudly served as the leader for the Boy Scout Troop 845, and was an advancement chairman for the Boy Scouts as well.  He also coached baseball in the Cayuga Little League for several years.

Joseph was a longtime member of the Elk's Lodge. He was an avid woodworker and talented guitar maker. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, but especially enjoyed spending time with his cherished family.

In addition to his wife of 39 years and his mother, Joe is survived by his two sons, Joseph (Courtney) Rossi and Vincent Rossi; four grandchildren, Dominic, Angelo, Nico and Gianna Rossi; three sisters, Angela (Richard) Goulah, Gina (David) Galvano and Debra (Jonathan) Sanford, as well many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 28 ^th from 3 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Joseph's Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 11 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Rd, Ransomville, NY. Everyone please assemble at church.
