Joseph D. Wolkiewicz, 74, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on September 29, 2021 at Sheridan Manor in Tonawanda, NY.  Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late John Wolkiewicz.

Joe graduated from North Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, PA.  He also graduated from NCCC and Niagara University.  Joe served in the United States Air Force as an Airman Second Class in 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1969.  He was employed as a Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service in Niagara Falls, NY for 25 years.  Joe enjoyed watching sports, and was a fan of the New York Giants, San Francisco Giants, and Montreal Canadiens Fan.

Joe is survived by his children, Joanne Wolkiewicz and Joseph Wolkiewicz, Jr.; 1 sister, as well as his dear friends, Jack Suczynski and Tony Alterio.  He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Nancy Przywuski.
