Josephine "Jaye" D. Bosso, 90, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Wednesday May 19, 2010 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Tina (Paonessa) Scozzafava.

Jaye as she was known to everyone was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On April 6, 1948 she married William J. Bosso at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Bosso predeceased her in the late 1980's. From the late 1960's until the late 1980's Jaye worked at her family's owned business the former Crown and Anchor Restaurant located on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY. Jaye's life centered around her family and she enjoyed spending time with them.

Jaye is survived by four children William J. (Rose) Bosso Jr. of Atlanta, GA; Janelle D. Bosso of Niagara Falls, NY; Richard D. (Penny) Bosso and Thomas J. (Maryann) Bosso both of Tampa, FL; twelve grandchildren Dana (Kevin) Summers, William J. Bosso III, Jeffrey D. Bosso, Justin D. Bosso, Joseph A. (Katie) Trentley III, Jennifer L. Trentley, Richard D. Bosso, Jr., Michael D. Bosso, Thomas J. Bosso, Jr., Cori Lynn Bosso, Christina M. Bosso and Marisa N. Bosso, five great grandchildren John, Brianna, Britnee, Alyssa and Tommy III and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one sister Mary (late Sam) Trapasso.

Jaye's children would like to express a heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence for the compassion, support and quality of care given to their mother.

Friends may call on Friday from 10 – 11 a.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Duane Kilzek officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, 5285 Lewiston Rd. Lewiston, NY 14092.
