Josephine M. Chiazzese, 97, of Niagara Falls passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Elderwood at Wheatfield.  Born in Anita, PA on January 31, 1921, she was the daughter of the late James and Lillian (Piazza) Chiazzese.

Josephine has lived in the Niagara Falls area most of her life. She worked in the clerical department for twenty-eight years at Dairylea Cooperative and retired in 1982. She enjoyed attending church and reading the bible.

Josephine's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and caregivers of Elderwood at Wheatfield and the caring staff at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.

Josephine is survived by several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Della M. Chiazzese and Carmella Chiazzese.

Visitation will begin on Monday, January 7th from 10 – 11 A.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M.
