Josephine (Chapman) Cook, age 77, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on September 6, 2018 at Mercy Hospital Buffalo. Born October 1, 1940 in Brantley, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elnora (Daniels) Chapman.

Josephine came to Niagara Falls in 1955. On June 27, 1964, she married Lawrence H. Cook. He predeceased her in 2015.  Josephine worked as a printing associate at Coleman Printing Niagara Falls, until her retirement in 1996. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Josephine is survived by her sons, Steven (Sandra) Cook of North Carolina and Lawrence H. Cook II of Niagara Falls, her granddaughters Lela and Lexi Cook, one brother Thomas Chapman and several nieces and nephews and a special sister Annie Fields Chapman.  She was also predeceased by a sister Corine Nix and brother Reginald Chapman.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel 5871 Military Rd. Lewiston, NY. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will follow immediately after visitation with Pastor Gary Owens officiating.
