Josephine R. "Denny" Koury, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday February 17, 2012. Born in Williamsport, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rachel (Bishara) Sam-Fadel.

Denny as she was affectionately known, came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child with her family. She attended Niagara Falls schools and was employed with the Shredded Wheat Company in Niagara Falls, NY for many years where she held the position of supervisor at the time of her retirement. Denny loved her pets, flower gardening, quilting, antiquing and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived her sister Marion (late Anthony) Paduano of Kenmore, NY and predeceased by her siblings Emma (late James) Vlahos, George (Santa of Niagara Falls, NY) Samm, John (late Eleanor) Samm and Esther (late Angelo) Costas. She was aunt Denny to Marietta (Malcolm) LaMoy of Niagara Falls, NY, Joann (Larry) Anderson and Anthony Paduano Jr. both of Kenmore, NY and great aunt Denny to Carolyn (Jeff) Nowak of Lockport, NY, Robert (Tamara) Gilbert of Niagara Falls, NY as well as several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Monday from 5 – 8 pm at the M.J. COLUCCI &SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD., NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 21st at 11: 00 AM . Interment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Denny, memorials may be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
