Josephine A. (Ciraolo) Piazza of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Beechwood Homes, Getzville, NY.  Born on June 6, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Salvatore "Sam" and Antoinette (Giambra) Ciraolo

Josephine attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  On October 22, 1955 she married John Piazza. Mr. Piazza predeceased Josephine on May 3, 1989.  Josephine worked for twenty-five years as a secretary for John Hancock Insurance, Town of Niagara and retired in 1994.  She was a member of the 50 Plus Club, Reunited Club and St. Leo's seniors.  She also was an avid bowler.

Loving mother of Ann (Louis) Mistretta, Salvatore (Conch) Piazza and Gina Wolanyk; sister of Clara (late Andy) DeQuasie, Angelo (Dorothy) Ciraolo, Connie (late Gary) Wadsworth, Peter (Gayle) Ciraolo; loving grandmother of Joelle, Michael (Alana), Justine, Vincent, Daniel, Lindsey, Jason, Janelle, Nick and Christian. Josephine is also survived by a sister-in- law, Josephine (late Charles) Piazza and several nieces, nephews and dear relatives in France, Belgium and Sicily.  In addition to her parents and husband, Josephine was predeceased by her brother and sister, Joanne (late Gino) DelMonte and Joseph (Toni) Licata and a late brother-in-law, Antonio (late Rose) Piazza.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 7 ^th from 3 – 7 Ppm at M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGRA FALLS, NY, where prayers will begin on Thursday morning at 9:15 am followed by Josephine's Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
