Josephine J. Signorelli, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14 ^th , 2017 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Aquila, Italy, she was the loving daughter of the late Amedeo and Louise Capannola.

Josephine came to Niagara Falls with her family as a baby, and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On November 15, 1952, she married John D. Signorelli at St. Joseph's Church. Mr. Signorelli predeceased her on April 23, 1983, after 31 memorable years together. Josephine retired from Niagara Geriatrics Center where she was the lead baker for many years.

Josephine's deep affection for her family will always be treasured as a foundation of love. That love was especially expressed when spending time with her family and her most cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her children, John R. (Debbie) Signorelli and Karen (Danny) Russo; grandchildren, Stephanie Signorelli, Nicole Signorelli, John D. (Sarah) Signorelli and Daniel Russo; great-grandchildren, Selena Jo and John Michael Signorelli, and her brother, Mario (Sue) (late Jeannie) Capannola. She was the dear aunt of Richard (Kristen) Capannola, Angela (Richard) Manning, Chris (Sabrina) Capannola, Marc (Melissa) Capannola, Vicki Signorelli, David Signorelli, Michael (Paula) Signorelli, Angela Bianco, the late Anthony Signorelli, as well as the great aunt to many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also the sister-in-law of the late Patsy (late Phyllis) Signorelli, Anna (late Frank) Fiorita, the late Mary Signorelli, and the late Frank J. (Mary) Signorelli. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Domenick (late MaryAnn) Capannola, Julie Capannola and Richard Capannola.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday June 22nd, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Destiny Christian Church, 905 College Ave., Niagara Falls, NY.  Interment alongside her husband in St. Joseph Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
