Josephine 'JoJo' Vicino, 66, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Rose (Ruggiero) Vicino.

Josephine was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and earned her Nursing degree from Niagara University. For over 35 years, she proudly served as a Registered Nurse at Buffalo General Hospital.

Josephine enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid reader. She also has a great love for her dog, Snoopy. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family, especially during the holidays.

Josephine is survived by two siblings, Felix (late Susie) Vicino and Angela (Vito) Mecca, and was sadly predeceased by her brother, Anthony Vicino. She is also survived by her nephews, Frank (Melanie) Accardo and Nicholas (Carrie Penepent) Accardo; her nieces, Christine (Dalton Buxrude) Vicino and Katie (Robbie) Davison; her great-nephew, John Rocco Accardo, as well as many cousins and cherished friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 6 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Josephine's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 7 at 10:00 AM in St. Stephen's Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072. Interment private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Memorial offerings may be made to the Kidney Foundation of WNY, kfwny.org/.
