Joshua S. Ryals, 45, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 18, 2025 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Richard A. Ryals and the late Karen A. (Lepkosky) Ryals.

Josh was a graduate of LaSalle Senior High School and continued his education in accounting at University of Phoenix. On June 23, 2015, he married the love of his life, Stephanie A. (McIntosh) Ryals, in Niagara Falls.

For 10 years, Josh was employed as a Process Technician at Archem in Sanborn, NY. He was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he found joy in worshipping alongside his family.

Josh had a passion for cooking, especially barbequing and smoking meats. He enjoyed completing puzzles and taking on lock‑picking challenges. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family—camping together, cheering on his children at their baseball, soccer, and dance activities, and creating memories filled with laughter. Known for his happy spirit, love of pranks, and playful sense of humor, Josh brought joy to everyone around him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

In addition to his father and his wife of 10 years, Josh is survived by his beloved children, Kallie Ryals and Jameson Ryals; his siblings, Dawn M. (Thomas) Adamec, Scott A. (Tasha) Ryals, and Karianne C. Ryals; his half‑siblings, Richard Ryals, Jr. and Jason Ryals; his father‑ and mother‑in‑law, Gary and Suzanne McIntosh; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in‑laws, and friends.  In addition to his mother, Josh was sadly predeceased by his brother, David W. (Dawn) Ryals.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, from 1–4 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29 at 10 AM.
