Judith A. 'Judy' Cwierley, 74, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on December 12, 2024 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Zaremski) Promowicz.

Judy graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1968.    She later earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education from Buffalo State Teacher's College.  On September 18, 1975, she married John 'Jack' F. Cwierley.  Judy was employed for over 30 years in the Barker Central Schools District, teaching 6th grade until her retirement in 2007.  Judy was an avid fashion enthusiast and enjoyed going for lunches with family and friends.  She loved taking care of her birds and dogs.

In addition to her husband of 49 years, Judy is survived by her children, James (Dawn Short) Cwierley and Jeffrey (Dawn Kubicki) Cwierley and grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew, as well as nieces, nephews and several cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17 from 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM.  Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one's choice.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
