Judith A. "Judy" Jayes, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Paul F. and Patricia R. (Gardinier) Jayes.

Judy was a graduate of Bennett High School and later earned her Associates Degree from Erie Community College. She worked consistently throughout her life to provide for her family.

Judy enjoyed going out to eat and playing Bingo. More than anything, she was devoted to her children and grandchildren, always proud and encouraging. She loved to laugh and was known for her patience, kindness, and giving spirit. Judy was always smiling, positive, and thoughtful, never missing an opportunity to send greeting or Christmas cards to those she loved.

She is survived by her children, Robert P. Jayes and Patricia A. (Eric) Smith; her beloved grandchildren, Christopher and Connor, Ryan, Seth and Caitlin and their mother, Melissa, Noah and Dakota and their mother, Catherine, and Emily and her mother, the late Sandra; her siblings, Jane Jayes and Thomas Jayes; her longtime friend, Frank, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Judy was predeceased by her brother, Edward Jayes, and her dear friend, Craig.
