Julia A. Del Monte, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Born in Ramsaytown, PA she was the daughter of Luigi and Antonia (Capizzi) Rizzo. Julia attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High. She married Frederick "Fred" Del Monte on April 23, 1949 in St. Joseph's Church, Niagara Falls. Mr. Del Monte predeceased Julia on January 17, 2002. Julia worked for Kimberly-Clark as a secretary and also for Di Camillo's Bakery. She was an active member of her church and enjoyed playing cards ("Club") with her girlfriends on Wednesday nights. Above all, Julia was devoted to her family and cherished spending time with them.

Julia is survived by her children; Paul Del Monte, Anne (George) Constantino and Dr. Mark (Jeri Ann) Del Monte; grandmother of nine and great grandmother of two. She is also survived by a brother, Joseph Rizzo and several nieces and nephews. Julia was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, July 15th from 5 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 A.M. in Holy Family Parish at Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls.  Flowers gratefully declined.
