Julie (Kurek) Fucarino, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Thurzewska)Kurek.

Julie was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. On April 23, 1960 she married Eugene Fucarino in Kenmore, NY. Mr. Fucarino predeceased her on April 24, 2012. Julie was employed at Mr. S. Coffee Shop, Harris and Lever Florist and the Saratoga Restaurant all in Niagara Falls, NY. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino with her husband and family.

Mrs. Fucarino is survived by three children Sharon Graci, Sandra (Thomas) Carella, Eugene 'Geno' Fucarino and was predeceased by one infant daughter Gina Fucarino. She is also survived by five grandchildren Julie Ann Graci, Denise Graci, Thomas (Julie) Carella, Christopher (Michelle) Carella and Alivia Fucarino; eight great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law Mary Campanaro, Frances (late Frank) Garcia and Joan (Philip) Infantino and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Stanley (late Valerie) Kurek, Walter Kurek and Joseph Kurek, one sister Stella (late Raymond) Manning and was the sister-in-law of the late Verna (late Paul) Henschel, Anne (late Frank) DiMarco, Dorothy (late Joseph) Coscia and David Fucarino.
