Karen E. Janicki, 50, of Ransomville, NY, passed away on Monday September 12, 2011. Born in Buffalo, NY she was the daughter of Dorothy (Wojtaszczyk) Janicki of Ransomville, NY and the late Frank Janicki.

Karen attended local Niagara Falls schools. She was employed as a waitress at Michael's Restaurant in Niagara Falls and later the former Harding's Restaurant in Youngstown, NY. She was most recently employed as a dealer at the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, NY. Karen had a passion for art and taking art classes, especially oil painting. She also loved riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, was a member of the Harley Owners Club. Karen especially loved spending time with her dog Axelle.

In addition to her mother, Karen is survived by her brother Keith (Kimberly McFarland) Janicki of Grand Island, NY; her sister Katrina (Christopher) McDonnell of Ransomville, NY; two nephews Zachary McFarland and Sean McFarland and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at a date to be later announced.
