Katherine Dibble, age 90, passed away naturally and peacefully on May 4, 2026, under the loving care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Born in Chateaugay, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Myrtle (Hyde) Nesbitt.

Katherine moved to Niagara Falls in the early 1960s, where she devoted herself to raising her beloved children and building a life rooted in family. Over the years, she held various positions, including with HANCI, the Niagara Falls Air Base, and as an independent home care aide. She was also a passionate and dedicated Avon sales representative for many years.

Katherine enjoyed her monthly “book club” gatherings, which were as much about laughter and companionship. She also enjoyed worshipping at Mass, praying for her children, spending time outdoors, playing bingo, and walking her dogs, finding peace and joy in the beauty of nature.

Above all, Katherine was devoted to her family. Time spent with her loved ones was her greatest happiness. All she wanted was her family to ‘stay close together’. Her gentle presence, steady love, and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Katherine is survived by four children, Donna (Marty) Martinucci, Diane McNaughton, Dale (Kim Congi) Dibble, and Denise (Jerome) Bobak, and was sadly predeceased by her daughter Dora Dibble. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christina Mack, Lori Galley, Lisa McNaughton, Danielle (Shawn) Daly, Brittany (Chris) Piedmont, DJ (fiancé Kaitlyn) Dibble, Stephen Bobak, Maria (Matthew) Franjione, Jeremy (Chrissa) Bobak, James Bobak, Joshua (Taty) Bobak, Daniel “Danny” Martinucci, Joseph Martinucci, Anthony Martinucci; her great-grandchildren, Xavier, Kiara, Tyreek, Eric, McKenna, Reagan, John, Riley, Arilyn, and Sadie, Samuel, Isaiah, Elijah, Batholomew, Augustine, and Joseph,; her four great great-grandchildren, Alena, Eli, Kamyla, and Antwan, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and daughter, Katherine was predeceased by her former husband, Kenneth Dibble; one grandson, Nicholas (Lori) Martinucci and two grandchildren, Xavier and Tonia.

Katherine was the beloved sister of the very large Nesbitt Family of Chateauguay NY: Robert & Marge, Carl & Veronica, Loren & Norma, Bernard (deceased infant), Leonard & Shirley (Caroline), Edith & Robert, James & Carol, Helen & Oren, Douglas & Susan, Thomas & Sharon, Lawrence & Francie, William & Blanche, David & Nancy.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 7 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Katherine’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 8 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Cataract Church, 237 4th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303. Interment will be held in Acacia Park Cemetery.
