Loving Sister, Aunt and Great Aunt

Katherine M. "Kathy" Colosi, 74, a long time resident of Ferry Ave in Niagara Falls, NY passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Russell R. and Rubina "Ruby" (Polaster) Colosi.

Kathy was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and was a 1957 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She first worked for Prudential Life Insurance Company and retired from the Niagara Falls Board of Education where she worked as an Administrators Assistant.

Kathy was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting. She was very close to her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her nieces and nephews. Her family would like to extend a special Thank you to the 2 west staff and residents at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility for their care and kindness.

Kathy is survived by her brother, Richard J. (Cecilia) Colosi of Canandaigua, NY; predeceased by her sister late Marie (Stanley J. II of Niagara Falls, NY) Klimeczko; nieces and nephews, Stanley J. Klimeczko III, Robert (Carrie) Klimeczko, Rosanne (Fiancé Ryan McDevitt) Colosi, Richard (Stephanie) Colosi and Janelle (Alex) Bruno; great nieces and great nephew Kayleigh and Ryan Klimeczko and Cameron Ruby Colosi and several cousins.

Friends may call on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday July 11th at 10 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, If desired, memorials can be made to a charity of ones choice.
