Kathleen A. “Kathy” Antonucci, 79, of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away peacefully at her residence on July 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family while under the compassionate care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Carolyn (Lucantonio) Soluri.

Kathy graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1965 and later earned her Associate’s Degree from Niagara County Community College. On October 24, 1992, she married Anthony F. “Tony” Antonucci II.

For 37 years, Kathy was employed as a Secretary to the Air Traffic Controllers with the Federal Aviation Administration in Niagara Falls, NY, retiring in 2008.

Kathy was an active member of the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center Women’s Guild and the Niagara Women’s Club, where she formed lasting friendships and enjoyed giving her time to support community initiatives. She cherished spending time in Florida with her husband, embracing sunshine, relaxation, and the simple joy of shared days together. Christmas was her favorite season, and she delighted in decorating her home—especially her beloved Christmas Village, which became a treasured tradition for family and friends alike.

Known for her upbeat, happy, and positive nature, Kathy carried herself with a mild‑mannered, laid‑back grace that made others feel at ease. Her gentle presence, warm smile, and kind heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her husband of 33 years, Kathy is survived by her step‑children, Kristen (Jim) Pyra and Anthony F. Antonucci III; her sisters, Claudia (George) Noto and Janice (late Dennis) DiLeonardo; her sisters‑in‑law, Linda (Jim) Falcocchio and Donna Antonucci; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29 from 10 AM to 12 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 12 PM. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
