Kathleen M. 'Kay' Crogan-Romano, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away at her residence on February 12, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Calato) Cannello.

Kay was raised in Niagara Falls and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  She later attended Michigan State University.  Kay was employed at the assistant to the Director of the Laborer's Local 91 Pension Fund.  In addition, she also owned and operated Cousin's Lounge in Niagara Falls, and later worked at Occidental Credit Union.  She enjoyed spending winters in Lady Lake, FL for 25 years.

She loved to garden, entertain, especially on her front porch, in which she took great pride and was the winner of the Park Place Porch Fest.  In addition, she loved going to the casino and travelling and lunches with her family, and golfing with her second husband, Michael Romano.  Above all, she loved cooking for her family and spending time with them.

Kay is survived by her children, Joseph L. (Tammy) Crogan, Jr., Michael 'Fritz' (Denise) Crogan, and Richard 'Rick' (Michael Murphy) Crogan; her grandchildren, Joseph L. Crogan, III, Brandon (Renee) Leware, Monika (Andy) Stander, Matthew Crogan, and Michael Crogan; her great-grandchildren, Bella, Hudson, Maddox, Sophia, and Kora; her brother, Leonard (Louise) Cannello, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph L. Crogan, Sr., on March 4, 1989, and her second husband, Michael S. Romano, on August 12, 2020.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 19, from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Kay's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's of the Cataract Church, 237 4 ^th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303.  Please assemble at church.
